Fareham Town will look to get their season back on track this weekend (November 24) when they play Bournemouth in the Sydenhams Football League Premier Division.
After seeing a slight dip of form of late with two defeats in their last two games which included Saturday’s 3-0 defeat to Alton Town, the Creeksiders will look to bounce back and begin the climb up the table rather than eyeing the teams below them.
Fareham were scheduled to play in the Russell Cotes Cup against Moneyfields on Tuesday but with the bad weather the game was called off because of a waterlogged pitch. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday December 11.
So with a whole week’s rest, the side will be raring to go against Bournemouth tomorrow.
Their opponents have picked up seven points in their last four games including a valiant effort in the FA Vase.
Despite Bournemouth’s tendency to concede goals – they currently have the fifth worst defensive record in the league – expect to see both teams score. Both sides have netted 57 goals between them – Fareham 28 and Bournemouth 29.
Fareham play at Victoria Park in Winton against Bournemouth. Kick off is at 3pm.
